The main part of ISWT-02 was discussions on five topics. Participants were splited into those topics covering different aspects.
Participants were free to choose any of the five topics for group discussions.
AIDS/HIV
What group in our society is mostly affected? What is the future of the youth? What is the role of youth in prevention and spread of AIDS pandemic? Can men make a difference? What is the role of international community? What is the role of International Organizations and other organizations?
Terrorism and World Conflicts
What we see, as the first young generation of the third millennium is that terrorism and World conflicts are accelerating faster than ever. In what ways do politics lead to conflicts? Terrorism: Why and how to fight against it? The International court of Justice: International justice or international power politics? What is the relevance of Thomas Hobbes' theory of human nature? In today's situation? Is power a problem to world politics?
Youth, Leadership and Development
Development is the most challenging dynamic process which calls for a leadership capable of combining both intellectual and human ability. The youth have a pertinent role to pay on the impetus process of development so as to change the world into a better place. Are youth incapable of chatting the way forward? Is it not true that the destiny of the world is in the hands of the youth? Can't youth face the challenge of leadership in the world? And/or what is the role of youth in the development process?
The future of wildlife Habitats and Environment
The survival of wildlife species is a matter of grave concern, so many species are disappearing, thus threatening natural heritage. What environmental factors that contribute to loss of wildlife habitats? What are Human impacts on wildlife habitats? What are Wetlands impacts on wildlife habitats? What can be done?
Media
Media inform people, making everybody aware of what happens in the society. It is powerful and capable of making the world a better place. What controls the flow of information? Are all information facts? Media present reality: How valid is that reality? What roles do media play in a global world? What will be the most challenges of media? How to solve them?
